เล้าข้าว(ยุ้งข้าว)เป็นสถานที่เก็บข้าวเปลือกและผลผลิตทางการเกษตร รวมทั้งเป็นที่เก็บเครื่องมือ เครื่องใช้ในวิถีชีวิตและคอกสัตว์เลี้ยง ตูบต่อเล้า เป็นเรือนชั่วคราวที่ยื่นออกมาจากเล้าข้าวเป็นที่อยู่อาศัยของครอบครัวใหม่ที่แยกเรือนออกจากเรือนของพ่อแม่ แต่ยังไม่มีกำลังที่จะสร้างเรือนใหม่หรือถ้าไม่มีผู้อาศัยใช้เป็นสถานที่เก็บวัสดุเครื่องมือ เครื่องใช้ในวิถีชีวิต

Lao khao or a barn in English keeps paddy rice and agricultural produce,as weh as everyday life utensils and pen for animals. Toob Tor Lao is a temporary building which stretches from Lao khao as residence of a new family,not being able to afford building a new house, which lives sepately from the parents (main house within the same area ). If there is no resident, the barn can also be used as storehouse.
